This is my third year using BasketEmail service. I use the weekly email and it takes about 5 minutes out of my Monday mornings to write a paragraph or two and send it off. My customers who are on my email list; around 100, are very well informed. Each week focuses on different things such as hostess specials, products on sale including great ideas, pictures included, and on and on. Some of my customers probably never look at it and press delete, but I have also had a lot of feedback on how much they love getting this info. It opens the door for communication. I often get a question with my newsletter in the reply. The other plus is if Longaberger sends out their infamous last minute campaigns that you may not have the time to promote, it is all in the email. This is also good for those customers who rarely buy but are receiving the email as you can forgo a mailed flyer. I learn a lot from the newsletter as well, since I often miss details even after I've read my notebook. Another perk is that when I am having an open house, I always give them a "heads up" weeks before I send out the invitation and continue to remind them weekly. To me it is money very well spent. I am signing for another year.

I have not received my basket newsletter and this afternoon received 3 phone calls asking me what has happened! I'm sure there is an explanation because it is such a thrill for me each Sunday morning to type in my message and send it to around 50 basket lovers! It has increased my sales AND I was told today that one customer said she feels "so special" when receiving it! Just checking and hoping there is no problem and everything is okay! My consultants LOVE getting the leader newsletter and I've many positive comments. They just don't remember to check the company one and it is so boring. They did just change back to recognizing Guest Sales rather than Sales Credit - but I am still glad I made the choice to do these as it has sparked interest in the consultants. An email "hits them in the face" as opposed to going to the website and retrieving it.
